Along with building a world class medical diagnostic tool, the NxOpinion development team maintains very high standard for the medical knowledgbase.  During early development, the development team identified the need to build a state-of-the-art tool which physicians, medical experts and administrative staff could use to enter and manage medical knowledge from around the world.  This tool, which is known as Nx Knowledge Management (NxKM), is in use by several NxOpinion medical team members from remote locations.  NxKM is an easy to use tool that works over the internet; managing a very complex workflow of content in a simple and user-friendly manner.  A user located anywhere in the world with the correct credentials can log onto the central database, NxKM and make data entries and edits based upon their user privileges.  

In addition to the NxOpinion development team consisting of developers and architects, a separate NxOpinion Medical Team was formed consisting of top medical experts.  The focus of this team is to gather, focus, and integrate complex medical knowledge into a sophisticated database managed by NxKM.  Once this knowledge is entered, the data goes through a detailed process involving multiple levels of internal medical reviews to verify accuracy.  Once the data is approved by the internal NxOpinion medical staff, the knowledge is reviewed by a team of external physicians and medical experts.  Only after a final review and approval by the NxOpinion Content Team, is the final knowledgebase published.
